Florida Atlantic University's main campus spreads across 850 acres at Glades Road and I-95 - roughly 30,000 students, a teaching hospital partnership, a Division I football stadium and a district of student housing, faculty neighborhoods and research buildings around it. The campus generates airport traffic year-round, and a striking amount of it flows through Miami International rather than the closer airports, because MIA is where the international routes and the affordable nonstops live - for a student flying home to Bogota or Chicago, the fare difference funds the ride.

At 43 miles, this is our shortest Boca route: I-95 north from the 836 interchange, off at Glades Road, and the Owl statue is in sight within the hour - 48 to 58 minutes is the working range. Drop-offs cover the full campus map: residence halls on move-in day, the Kelly/Strul engineering buildings for visiting researchers, the stadium on game weekends, or the off-campus apartment clusters along Palmetto Park and 20th Street.

Parents are our biggest constituency here. An unaccompanied student flying into MIA at night is exactly the scenario our meet-and-greet exists for: the driver waits inside arrivals with a name board, confirms identity, helps with the semester's worth of luggage and sends the booking parent a message when the car is moving. The fare was fixed and paid in advance, so there is nothing for the student to handle at the curb.
